Evo Maison Reviews

Free and included with a Shopify plan, so there’s no extra domain cost.

Instant setup, which lets the store go live quickly without domain registration steps.

Built-in SSL/security, so HTTPS protection is available from the start.

Useful for testing and development, including trial orders, checkout flow checks, and design experiments.

Permanent technical backup URL, which remains available as long as the Shopify account is active.

Weak branding, because the myshopify name stays in the URL and reduces uniqueness.

Lower customer trust, since it can look less professional or more scam-like to shoppers.

Poorer SEO potential than a custom domain, especially for competitive search visibility.

Less memorable for customers and harder to build brand recognition around.

Cannot be changed once created, so the subdomain choice is locked in.

Can limit email branding, since custom domain email addresses are not supported with the subdomain alone.
